What started as a side project has grown into a collection of curiosities.
One year ago, I started asking creative people a few simple questions.
I wanted to know how they got started.
What inspires them.
What they do when they're stuck.
What keeps them going.
Fifty-two interviews later, I've collected hundreds of answers.
Some practical.
Some surprising.
Some impossible to forget.
To celebrate Year One of 6Qs with Christine, I pulled together a few of the observations, lessons, and pieces of advice that stayed with me.

After 52 conversations, one thing feels clear.
Creative people are far less interested in having all the answers than they are in asking better questions.
The paths are rarely linear.
Nobody feels completely ready.
Community matters.
Curiosity matters.
And the people who keep making things are usually the people who keep learning.
